South Wall Leiva Valley |
Located in the Regional
Park of “Sierra Espuña” Leiva Valley south wall is the cathedral
of Murcia climbing. With the first route established by Miguel Angel
Garcia Gallego and Juan Carrillo Olmos in 1970, the final expansion
of “Murciano” alpinism began.
In its more than two
kilometres of steep wall you can find a large number of multi-pitch
routes up to 200 meters high mostly bolted as well as single pitch
areas such as “Las Cuevas and La Pecera”.
Routes: More than
240 routes spread across the south wall, Las cuevas y La Pecera.
Multi-pitch routes with medium difficulties up to 7b in the south
wall, single-pitch routes up to 8c+ in Las Cuevas and more moderate
difficulties in La Pecera.
