| Cabezo Gordo |
Located around a unique
natural environment such as “El Mar Menor" (Salty Lagoon located
in Murcia), El Cabezo Gordo(312m) stands alone. This protected
natural area has an important archaeological site "La Sima de
las Palomas" that is providing important information about the
early settlers of the Region of Murcia. Besides climbing, some paths
cross this small hill from the summit offering superb views of the
“Campo de Cartagena” and “El Mar Menor”.
Routes:
More than 30 single-pitch routes spread across three areas. “Sector
Monticola" is home to most of these routes. About 25 routes,
from 6a+ to 8a abounding the 7th grade. Its southern orientation is
