Ricote Valley

Ricote
Ricote is the only village in the valley that does not sit on the banks of “Segura” river. Nestled in privileged natural environment, this small village has an enviable historical and cultural heritage, built over the centuries. Also it is another village fortunate enough to have various climbing areas just few minutes from the city centre, one of these areas “Peñon de Ricote” is merely five minutes walk from the downtown. Climbing can be done throughout the year due to different orientations of climbing areas. Ricote is a place worth visiting for some relaxation and to enjoy its magnificent climbing possibilities and natural surroundings. .http://www.valledericote.com
