Located 11 kilometres
from Cieza, between “Carcabo” and “Quipar” reservoirs, El
Almorchon(764m) stands alone. Due to its isolated location on a
magnificent natural environment climbing here has a marked alpine character. A perfect destination for winter months El
Almorchon offers different climbing styles such as Trad, Aid and Sport climbing with routes up to 260 meters high.
Routes: More than 100 routes spread across various areas. Single-pitch routes in “El Puente”, “Los Fruitis” and “La Balsa”. Multi-pitch routes some of them up to 260 metres high in “Pared Primera”, “Pared Gris”, “El diente”, “Pared Roja”, “Torre de en Medio”, “Torre Nocturna” and “Torres del Carcabo”.
